    They seem to be a highlight in the 1947 catalog, i'd expect them to be dated somewhere on the chassis.

    Those are theatre amps - I worked on one once. Impressive.

    However - they're kind of funny in how they hookup. Be sure you have the manuals on them.

    Thanks both responders for the info, they have schematics on the inside but I couldn't find any date codes - and they seem to be rated at lower power < 20 watts each for reliability. Center knob is for emergency changeover (it's nice that theaters had a back-up Amp in custom rack as it now makes an excellent stereo pair). No doubt they will need some capacitor work. The transformers are Hollywood Peerless according to their colorful decals and the specs on the printed schematic say they're within 3db from 20 to 20,000 cps which is better than my ~1940 RCA MI-4288 amps which roll off at ~14,000
